After a long flight from Asia, we arrived at The West Hollywood Edition to a warm welcome and some fabulous drinks. The GM and the team greeted us, making check-in a breeze before whisking us up to the most amazing upgrade – the PENTHOUSE! There’s nothing quite like sipping a cocktail in the penthouse, feeling like a celebrity, and gazing out over West Hollywood.

The room was perfectly prepped, and two awesome gentlemen helped us with our bags and showed us around. The team had even prepared the cutest edible but paintable cookies of our kids’ portraits and a red velvet cake. Talk about a sweet welcome!

We headed down to Ardor for dinner and had an unforgettable meal: crab linguine, tomahawk steak, tandoori carrots, Caesar salad, broccolini, salmon, cocktails, and a mango pastry for dessert. It was a feast! After that, we crawled into bed for some much-needed deep sleep.

The next morning, we slept in and met the team for the official signing at the rooftop pool. To our surprise, they had brought the whole team and reserved a corner cabana for us all day. It was the perfect way to recover from our long journey – lounging, swimming, and napping in the California sun.

But the surprises didn’t stop there! At noon, the chef and pastry chef came out with custom chef uniforms for the kids and taught them how to make choco tacos with liquid nitrogen, milk chocolate, and peppers. So delicious!

With dessert out of the way, we had the most amazing tacos, quesadillas, and guacamole for lunch, accompanied by a few lime, mint, and watermelon margaritas-compliments of Emily the F&B director. After a restful day at the pool, we returned to our room to find a sweet Squish-mallow toy that our daughter had been looking for to add to her collection. She was stunned and so grateful. It was such a thoughtful gift!

As our journey continued, we packed up with sad faces, played a little pool, and waited for our car to arrive. What an amazing celebrity experience. West Hollywood team, thanks for a truly Oscar-winning stay!
