We rolled into The Ginza Edition later than planned, but the team had a fantastic welcome ready for us! They upgraded us to the premier suite and even gave the kids their own room so we could all sleep soundly. The room was so lovely complete with living space, dining room and our own Japanese fan and family photo signed by the whole team.
The hotel is the coziest of all the Editions we have visited, It had all the elements you would need snuggled into a well planned, luxurious and organized space right in the middle of the city. There is a wonderful rooftop but sadly it was under construction so we didn’t get the chance to visit this trip.
The team had prepared a special dinner, but unfortunately, we arrived too late to enjoy it. No worries though – the next morning, we had a great breakfast with our names on the menu. We also made an appointment to meet the team for the official passport signing.
We met up in the Punch Room, where the team had a fantastic surprise for the kids: the first-ever Edition scavenger hunt! The kids followed clues around the hotel, which led them to a box of amazing local artisan popsicles. They had a blast!
To top it off, we got Edition passport temporary tattoos and had a fun time with the team. After a quick ramen lunch, it was time to head to the airport.
Even though our visit was short, it was packed with fun and adventure. If you’re looking for a hotel in the heart of Ginza’s luxury shopping district, with over 3,000 restaurants just a few blocks away, The Ginza Edition is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay. Thanks for the awesome memories, Ginza!
