For this visit we didn’t know the exact day of the hotel’s soft opening so we stayed one night at a sister hotel awaiting our stay at the recently opened Singapore EDITION. We walked through the neighborhood and saw our home away from home beckoning us. As we entered, we were greeted and checked in by the EDITION team on their second week of welcoming guests. The lobby had both cozy elements and opened up into a center with a gold domed ceiling above a subterranean spiral staircase (a theme that continued throughout this property). We wanted to grab a bite to eat and welcomed some friends to meet us at the hotel restaurant FYSH. The food was creative and as you can probably guess, mostly fish! The chef goal is to use every part of the fish in one way or another to cut down on waste and to create truly unique flavors.

Our room, Suite #416 at The Singapore EDITION Hotel was truly wonderful, offering a blend of luxury and tranquility. Situated in a corner, the suite was bathed in natural light, with lush trees right outside the windows creating the feeling of a treehouse.

One standout feature were the privacy shutters that allowed us to control the ambiance and maintain a sense of exclusivity. The stark white finishes, coupled with natural wood and metal highlights, created a modern yet warm aesthetic, making the suite both inviting and sophisticated.

The bathroom continued the theme of elegance and functionality, boasting a separate shower and tub. This thoughtful design ensured a luxurious and customizable bathing experience, adding to the overall comfort of our stay.

A welcome card greeted us upon arrival, setting a personalized tone for our visit. To our delight, there were treats that added a sweet touch to the warm welcome, enhancing our overall experience at The Singapore EDITION Hotel.

After settling in we changed and headed to the pool area. The pool at the Singapore EDITION Is spectacular. The design echoed the dome and staircase in the lobby by featuring a domed glass circle in the bottom of the pool giving you a view of the terrace area 3 stories below! After a good swim and quick yoga session on the terrace we set off to look around the neighborhood and of course grab some Shake Shack :)

The next morning we were able to meet Ranin and Priscilla in the lobby bar to complete our official EDITION passport signing. We asked if it was possible to take a peek at the penthouse and they graciously took upstairs to take a look. The penthouse was complete with full dining room, kitchen, living area and a huge outdoor balcony complete with a private pool. Anyone staying in this room is in for a special experience. In the afternoon came the worst part of every EDITION stay…the moment we have to leave. Thanks EDITION Singapore for a great stay in one of our favorite cities and congratulations on a successful opening!
